Doug has thirty years of experience in Sales/Marketing; with
the last fourteen spent in the area of waste management, waste disposal
and recycling equipment sales. He has been actively involved in
the forefront of evolving technology for waste recycling and for
the development of functioning waste-to-energy conversion systems.
He is regarded as a sought-after resource on the general topic of
waste management and is called upon frequently to advise and/or
speak on the subject to a variety of private and municipal entities,
as well as at seminars at Clemson University’s Continuing
Education Program on solid waste and recycling. He was engaged for
ten years previously as a field trainer and District Manager for
a major insurance company, responsible for directing and developing
insurance agents. Earlier he graduated from the Gulf States Paper
Corporation School and the Television Bureau of Advertising School
in New York City.
Doug also has over twenty-five years experience in US Army Military
Police. A graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College
at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Colonel King has vast experience with
staff planning and coordination with emphasis on leadership. He
was singled out for special recognition with the Army Commendation
Medal for establishing “from scratch” two army units
that within two years were fully staffed and combat proficient.
